Rennie is available for author visits throughout the school year.
She has programs for preschool through second grade (based mainly on the picture book B Is for Bellies: A Celebration of Every Body), as well as programs for third through eighth grades with a focus on her newest middle grade novel, Good Boy, Eddie, and writing exercises for older students.
She can speak to high school students about her extensive career in media and publishing—working for PEOPLE and authoring 16 books, from middle grade novels to celebrity memoirs, and co-authoring the Show Strides equestrian series. Initially independently published by The Plaid Horse, the series was acquired by a major publisher and will be rereleased beginning in 2024.
Presentations include a book reading, Q&A, interactive exercises, and/or writing prompts, depending on the age group. A book sale can also be set up to coincide with the visit.
Please contact Rennie directly for rates and more information.

“Rennie created a presentation that encouraged our students to participate in the discussion, and the excerpts from Good Boy, Eddie that she read with the students had them hooked on reading. “Rennie did a great job of speaking to the students about her background as a writer before sharing her new book. I appreciated her pre-reading interactive activity with the students to help introduce the theme of her book.”
