Book Release Day!
It’s like Christmas, New Year’s and my birthday all rolled into one. My new book, A Famous Dog’s Life, written with Hollywood animal trainer Sue Chipperton, is in stores. And on Amazon! (Only 17 copies left as of this blog post … a good sign, I would think).
The book world is so staggeringly different from the magazine world that now, even on my third book, I’m still surprised at the pace. Things simply take a l-o-n-g time in publishing (about a year and a half from start to finish on a book deal to print), whereas I’m used to the pace of a weekly magazine. Not to mention a minute-by-minute celebrity website.
So it’s that much more exciting to finally see all that hard work — all 288 pages of it, to be exact — in stores.
I’d love to hear from anyone who reads it … reviews welcome! Especially in 5-star form on amazon.com, but I’m sure you all knew that.
